Harbormaster was originally developed in 2015 to accelerate the work of a single developer maintaining the CI/CD infrastructure of an entire team. After its initial success, it was open-sourced as a DevOps and Data Pipeline tool and used at both startups and larger enterprises to reduce the time and effort required to ship to production, as well as to parse and submit events to message brokers in data & analytics pipelines.
